In a surprising crossover event that breaks traditional predictions, Ubisoft has unveiled an in-game crossover between Assassin's Creed Shadows and the acclaimed anime series Attack on Titan. The surprising Thanksgiving event operates from November 25 through December 22, providing free bonus story content for Shadows players.

According to the formal announcement, "A strange meeting leads protagonists Naoe and Yasuke into a fresh adventure, where whispers of prohibited ceremonies and terrifying transformations reverberate through the shadows." The storyline features a "oddly dressed woman named Ada" who tasks the duo with journeying into the Crystalline Cavern—a key location from Attack on Titan—to liberate her ally from a hidden group.

The questline focuses on "strange trials and a terrifying adversary" and is open to all players who have gained access to the Yasuke character.

Iconic Settings and Changes

The teaser features the Underground Chapel from Attack on Titan redesigned as the Crystal Cave. This important location was earlier where the Reiss royal family passed down the Founding Titan ability through generations. The trailer concludes with a powerful sequence showing a character, likely the captive, transforming into a Titan that towers over Naoe and Yasuke.

Players who successfully complete the adventure will receive an special katana together with numerous objects hidden throughout the area in concealed chests. The update also contains purchasable Attack on Titan item packs, featuring:
