After a brief run back in April, this cartography software collection is back with an encore available until Dec. 2. Hailed as a "treasure trove of assets and apps" developed by ProFantasy Software over the years, the complete package carries a value of over $1,300. Additionally, there exist multiple package options offered in this deal.
The standout feature is certainly a lifetime license for Campaign Cartographer 3+, a professional-grade mapping application that can be used to create everything from epic fantasy landscapes, detailed regional charts, city maps, and most notably, dungeon and tabletop battle maps.
A regional fantasy map generated in Campaign Cartographer 3+.
The most affordable option, at a minimum cost of $1, features merely four of the 39 total items: Fantasy Overland Symbol Collection, Token Treasury: Monsters 1, Castle Source Maps, and Source Maps: Cities!. This one's only for existing CC3+ users, yet it provides new fantasy symbol styles for overworld maps, more than 750 monster tokens for use in virtual tabletops, more than two dozen top-down castle layouts with 470 associated map tokens, eight complete urban centers, and more than 70 urban floorplans.
The eight-product collection for at least $15 is where things get more interesting by adding in a lifetime CC3+ license, the first Annual volume, Ultimate Mapping Guidebook, and Symbol Set 6: Isometric Cities. Cartographer's Annual is the yearly bundle from the company's ongoing subscription program which includes multiple CC3+ enhancements like map collections and various other tools. The Isometric Cities enables display cities with an extra dimension with isometric views from all sides. Meanwhile, the Mapping Tome is a 760-page for beginners and "power users" alike, packed with guidance and instructions covering cartography techniques.
For a minimum of $30, the 39-item bundle contains these components:
Every volume of Cartographer's Annual come with this bundle, plus numerous additional tools and content enabling creators to design entire planets or galaxies, or just go all-in on traditional fantasy world-building: battle maps, dungeons, urban centers, and continents from almost any perspective. You can even design character illustrations. At thirty versus fifteen dollars, the complete collection offers tremendous value, especially for cartographers who have only the annual CC3+ license and want to upgrade to lifetime. But it's obviously an even better deal for cartography beginners considering you even get introductory guides to facilitate learning. The one caveat here though the purchase is available on any platform, the applications only function on Windows.
As with other Humble Bundles, a portion of each sale goes to benefit a nonprofit. In this instance, the beneficiary is Save the Children, an organization founded by Eglantyne Jebb in 1919 dedicated to enhancing children's welfare globally via educational programs, medical services, and crisis response. The Bundle Filters option is toward the top of the page, though users may also choose any amount for a donation in the right-hand section. Additionally available is an donation allocation menu immediately below, enabling adjustment of how much of your donation goes to Humble, Profantasy, and Save the Children.
